AkzoNobel, is the world’s largest paints and coatings company, and the maker of Dulux paints. AkzoNobel is recognized as a global authority in understanding colour as well as in developing colour trends. We helped AkzoNobel develop the ColourFutures brand – an annual colour trend research and global insights, that provides international style and design trends for interiors and exteriors. These are then translated into colour palettes for consumers. ColourFuturesTM is created by a team of global colour experts from the fields of design, architecture and fashion. ColourFutures is now produced in 10 languages and is recognized as the publication that helps to define and shape the industry.

Working very closely with the AkzoNobel team, ThisCity acts as creative director on the project and produces the design, photography, styling, locations, propping, set building, retouching and multiple language artwork. This publication is sent around the world to key global influencers; architects, interior designers, DIY experts – so that they know what’s going to happen in the next 12 months. ThisCity also produces a ColourFutures animated film, supplements and off-shoot trend publications.
